How Hire Works

A straightforward process, from enquiry to collection

Everything is quoted to your event — here's exactly how the process, pricing, deposit and bond work.

01

Tell us your date

Share your date, venue, style and budget through the enquiry form.

02

Receive a proposal

We put together a mix of items to buy and hire, quoted to your event.

03

Deposit & bond

A 50% deposit secures your date; a bond covers hire items.

04

Set up & collect

We deliver and set up before your event, then collect afterwards.

Pricing

Every arrangement is quoted individually

There's no fixed price list — each hire or purchase is quoted around your specific arrangement, scale and stem selection. Send us your date, vision and budget through the enquiry form, and we'll come back with a proposal built around it.

Deposit — 50% of total cost. This secures your date once your quote is accepted. If your event is cancelled within one month of the event date, the deposit is non-refundable.
Bond. $300 for large hire orders (plinth arrangements, arches and installations). $200 for small orders (bouquets and personal pieces). The bond is refunded after collection, less any cost for cleaning or damage.
Cleaning & damage. If hired items require cleaning beyond normal wear, or are damaged during your event, the relevant cost is deducted from your bond and communicated to you clearly, with photos, before anything is withheld.
Delivery

Christchurch & beyond

Delivery within wider Christchurch is available for an additional cost, calculated by distance from St Albans. Canterbury and further afield are available by request — get in touch with your venue address for a delivery quote.

Buy vs. Hire, At A Glance

Which is which

Buy: bouquets and personal/sentimental pieces are always purchased outright — yours to keep.

Hire: large installations — arches, plinth arrangements and centrepiece sets — are hired for your date and collected afterwards.
